Minister of Foreign Affairs as patron of COMMON FUTURE 2024

Share

This year's edition of the Congress for Reconstruction of Ukraine with the honorary patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Foreign Ministry's support for economic cooperation with Ukraine is an important area of Poland's foreign policy.

Economic diplomacy is a key tool of Poland's foreign policy. Its purpose is to support the promotion of the Polish economy and businesses abroad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign missions support Polish companies, provide knowledge about foreign markets, present investment conditions to encourage capital investment, and support technological and scientific and research cooperation. This is particularly important with regard to the Ukrainian market, which faces problems arising from the ongoing armed conflict and the challenges of broad modernization of the entire country.

What the support of Polish entrepreneurs and service providers by Polish diplomacy looks like will be discussed at the COMMON FUTURE Congress for Reconstruction of Ukraine, over which the Minister of Foreign Affairs has assumed his patronage. A special circumstance this year is the decision of the European Council in December 2023 to open accession negotiations with Ukraine, which is expected to ultimately culminate in Ukraine's accession to the European Union. In addition, the Congress on Reconstruction of Ukraine provides a platform to highlight the importance of the Foreign Ministry's activities through other international formats, such as the Eastern Partnership, of which Poland is a leader.

This year's COMMON FUTURE Congress for Reconstruction of Ukraine will be held in Poznań on October 7-8 at the MTP grounds. The event is organized by the MTP Group, with substantive partners the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Polish Association of Construction Employers.
